Fundamentals of Yoga Series

Keeping yourself safe during your practice?  Are you struggling to keep up because you don't know the alignment of the poses?  Are you getting the most out of the poses and your practice?  If you answered no to any of these, you NEED to take this Series!

This 6 Class Series will explore the fundamentals of breath, postures, alignment and flow.

Week 1: Parasympathetic Nervous System/Sympathetic Nervous System, Philosophy, Breath
Week 2: Breath, Mountain Pose
Week 3: Puppy Dog, Sun Salutations (1/2 Salutation and Sun Salutation A)
Week 4: Standing Poses—Warrior 2, Side Angle, Triangle
Week 5: Shoulder Openers and Vinyasa (Downward Facing Dog, Plank, Chaturanga, Cobra)
Week 6: Neutral Pelvis, Sun Salutation B

*Unlimited yoga during the 6 weeks of the workshop.

**Qualifies for 6 CEUs for Yoga Alliance under TTP.

Jesi Mifsud finds peace and joy in the practice of yoga and loves sharing that part of yoga with students. Teaching students who are newer to yoga takes her back to when she first stepped on her mat and was transported to a magical space of calm. This is what she hopes to share with everyone who comes to one of her classes.

Jesi is the founder of blue door yoga & wellness and received her training from Mill Valley’s YogaWorks and studied under world-renowned teacher Nikki Estrada.

Meets Mondays 3.11-4.15.24, 6:45-7:45pm

All workshops are held at the studio unless specified.

All payments are non-refundable, but may be converted into blue door account credit (minus a $10 processing fee) if cancelation is received more than 72 hours before workshop.
